The six-month aesthetic medicine course consists of 360 academic hours, designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required to perform a wide range of aesthetic medicine procedures.
This is a full-spectrum course that thoroughly prepares participants for real-world work in cosmetology and aesthetic medicine. The training is led by a team of specialists from POWAB Clinic, along with collaborating cosmetologists and physicians.

It is the only course of its kind in Poland with such intensity, where participants not only gain in-depth theoretical knowledge but also actively take part in hands-on sessions. Throughout the training, they perform treatments under the supervision of professional instructors.

Goals of the One-Year Aesthetic Medicine Course:
  • To gain practical skills in performing treatments with hyaluronic acid, facial volumetry and lip modeling, PDO threads, laser therapy, tissue stimulators, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and fibrin, mesotherapy, lipolysis, and medical-grade chemical peels.

  • To understand the legal aspects related to operating a cosmetology practice.

Aesthetic Medicine Course – Program Overview
  • Session 1 – Orientation Day (1 day):
    Cosmetology theory, skin structure, basics of dermatology (skin diseases), anatomy of the face and neck, treatment contraindications, body dysmorphic disorder, medical interview, treatment documentation, photographic documentation, practical client preparation for procedures.
  • Session 2:
    Needle mesotherapy for the face and scalp, mesotherapy using a cannula.
  • Session 3:
    Laser therapy – laser hair removal, acne and rosacea reduction (IPL laser), fractional laser – facial resurfacing, scar removal.
  • Session 4:
    Cross-linked hyaluronic acid injection techniques – wrinkle filling, 8 lip augmentation techniques, cheek and jawline contouring, nose, chin, and tear trough correction. Practice with both cannula and needle.
  • Session 5:
    Medical chemical peels: TCA, Yellow Peel, Phenol Peel, Retix C, Dermamelan, Cosmelan, PRX-T33, cosmetic acids, and epidermal medical planing (scalpel exfoliation).
  • Session 6:
    PDO threads – including COG, PLLA, and PCLA threads. Thread implantation for the face, neck, and décolleté.
  • Session 7:
    Regenerative treatments with fibrin and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) – treatments for the face, neck, décolleté, body, and eye area.
  • Session 8:
    Tissue stimulators and advanced lipolysis: Profhilo, Linerase, succinic acid-based products, dermal demineralizers, Sunekos, Aqualyx, sodium deoxycholate, Jalupro.
  • Session 9:
    Radiofrequency, HIFU, hydrogen facial cleansing.
  • Session 10:
    Autologous tissue filler – facial contouring using fillers derived from the client’s plasma.
  • Certification:
    Written exam, final practical on a model, discussion and evaluation of the final case study.
Mode of Study:

The full course includes 10 training sessions (Friday to Sunday), held once or twice a month.
Classes take place from Thursday to Sunday (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) during the first session, and Friday to Sunday (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) for all subsequent sessions.
The complete course covers a total of 346 academic hours.
